Important Information About Broadcaster Cellular Communication Updates in the European Union and United Kingdom More Information
There are some important updates that will happen automatically to SIM cards used in Broadcaster engine controllers. These are the SIM cards inside Broadcaster 1+ units and on Broadcaster 2 units with side-mount cell modules. The SIM cards in the satellite modules use a different provider and are unaffected by these updates. These updates are planned for the European Union and the United Kingdom. Beginning in December, the cellular service provider will roll out automatic updates to SIMs. These updates are intended to improve network coverage and reliability.
For customers in these affected regions, we recommend powering on units about 20-30 minutes before they are needed, to allow updates to happen. It is still possible that a disruption could happen to units during pumping, but we are hoping that customers can plan ahead and turn on units long enough before pumping to allow these disruptions to happen before pumping begins.

Our satellite provider will be undergoing planned maintenance in the morning on Monday, December 15, 2025 for up to four hours. More Information
On Monday, December 15 beginning at 13:00 UTC, Orbcomm will be conducting planned maintenance of their ground station infrastructure in North America. Only satellite traffic in the North American region is expected to be affected. This maintainance window is 4 hours long. We expect a brief interruption in communication for those using satellite modules during this time with communication being intermittent for upwards of five minutes during this four-hour window. During this time, communication between Broadcaster engine controllers, remote tablets and the web portal may be interrupted for those using Orbcomm satellite modules.
Customers should be unaffected if they are:
